Build Your Digital World L2
- 12 Hours
This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of web development using HTML and CSS. The course will cover the basic building blocks of web design, enabling students to create and style their own web pages. Through hands-on lessons and projects on Code.org, students will learn how to structure web content, apply styles, and develop a professional-looking website. The course emphasizes practical skills, creativity, and an understanding of web design principles.
For the final project, students will create a fully functional web page representing their own brand or personal project. This web page should showcase their skills in HTML and CSS, featuring elements such as a navigation menu, styled images, products sections, and a get in touch section. Students are encouraged to design a page that reflects their unique style or interests, integrating custom branding elements like a logo, color scheme, and typography. Students will then build the web page using Code.org, applying HTML to structure the content and CSS to style and layout the page.
