Animate Your Imagination L1
- 15 Hours
This animation track teaches students 2D animation using Moho software. Starting with basics like keyframes and simple animations, students will advance to character design, rigging, and advanced techniques like SmartBones. The track culminates in a final project where students design, rig, and animate a character, such as SpongeBob, applying their skills to create a complete animated sequence.
For the final project of this animation track, students will utilize their skills to create and animate a fully rigged character, SpongeBob SquarePants. The project begins with drawing SpongeBob from scratch, focusing on his distinctive features and accurate character design. Following this, students will add bones to the character, constructing a rig that facilitates detailed and flexible movement. The project culminates in animating SpongeBob using the rig, applying keyframe and bone manipulation techniques learned throughout the course. This final project will demonstrate students' ability to merge artistic creativity with technical skills, resulting in a polished, animated character ready for presentation.
